We Have a Winner! Collector Claims $2,500 Bounty for the First NGC Submission of the July 4th Privy Quarter

The Semiquincentennial commemorative quarter received a grade of NGC MS 66 and is now the first example in the NGC Census.

The bounty set on the July 4th Privy Quarter by NGC has been claimed! Congratulations to Mike Trout of Bennettsville, South Carolina, who was the first to send in the commemorative coin for grading. The coin passed through the grading room on July 6, 2026, where NGC’s expert graders ensured its authenticity and gave it a grade of NGC MS 66. It is now the first example in the NGC Census. As promised, NGC has awarded Trout with $2,500 for being the first to submit an authentic example of the circulating rarity.
