Two upcoming seminars will be held in conjunction with the 2026 World’s Fair of Money (to be held August 25-29 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), providing collectors with opportunities to learn more about counterfeit detection and coin grading.

Instructor Keith Moon, former grader and finalizer for ANACS, Numismatic Guaranty Company, and Professional Coin Grading Service, will teach counterfeit detection of U.S. colonials , bullion, and the most recent Chinese-made fakes in the marketplace. This class will present some of the most deceptive counterfeits of U.S. coins, tokens, bullion, colonials, and bars. In addition to a digital presentation, attendees will participate in hands-on coin examination to help refine their counterfeit-detection skills.
