The Ten Cash Commentary

The second edition of Michael Zachary’s book The Ten Cash Commentary is now available. This release expands on the 2015 first edition and covers all general-issue Republic of China 10-cash and 1-fen coins issued before 1949.
The book features detailed descriptions of 182 varieties (compared to the 49 varieties listed in the Standard Catalog of World Coins and the 125 varieties in A.M. Tracey Woodward’s guide The Minted Ten-Cash Coins of China). Photographs accompany step-by-step identification instructions for all examples. The volume also revises many of the mintage dates found in the Standard Catalog.
