Proof American Gold Eagles dominated the U.S. Mint’s weekly sales list, with all five 2026-W options ranking among the top 10, reflecting both the popularity of the dual-dated gold coins and a slower sales week shaped by the unavailability of a notable share of lower-priced products introduced this year.
The smallest coin, the 1/10-ounce Gold Eagle, led the entire list after returning from a weeks-long absence. Its gain helped keep the Mint’s high-priced gold products prominent during a week when no product advanced by more than 1,000 units.
