A Declaration Commemorative

The Royal Mint has released gold and silver commemorative coins to recognize the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence.
On the left side of the reverse, a hand holds a quill, and a bald eagle in intricate detail fills the rest of the field. The rim bears the inscription 250TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE. Martin Jennings’s effigy of King Charles III appears on the obverse. Each coin comes in bespoke packaging that includes the history and significance of the Declaration of Independence, as well as information about the commemorative’s design.
